Magic Immune-A-Tea is a base blend of four powerful mushrooms, known for various medicinal properties. As the name states, this tea is beaming with mushroom goodness that only can be described as magical. These four mushrooms served as the base of the tea and also my brand identity.
The brief: Create standout packaging for a delicious tasting tea blended from powerful, functional mushrooms. This wouldn’t be the first mushroom tea on the market but my client wanted it to have a personality that could be felt at a glance.
During the consultation phase, I took into consideration all the phrases my client used to describe this tea, from flavor notes, inspiration examples and a general vibe wanted. I took images of each mushroom, stacked, mixed and split sections until a kaleidoscope pattern emerged. I also created a version using blended line artwork of each mushroom to use as a wallpaper pattern. Because the kaleidoscope pattern is so complex, I really wanted to keep all the other elements more minimalistic and text-based.
