Kindara is a women's health startup based in Boulder, CO. Devoted to uniting supportive, smart and compassionate women and their partners who are interested in understanding female fertility. They offer simple and elegant apps and devices related to fertility awareness and female health, starting with the Kindara app for fertility charting.
Working with the small team at Kindara, I created their branding book, infographics for promotions, graphics for email and social media content as well as UI/UX design work for both the iOS and Android app. I redesigned the iOS app that will be released sometime Fall 2015. I also designed the packaging and manual for Wink, Kindara's first connected device, an elegant and ultra precise basal body thermometer.
The Kindara team is always working to improve and create more features and innovative devices. Kindara was as rewarding as a design assignment as it was a way to learn more about my body.

NEXT Creatives Project - Coors
Next Creatives is designed to put upcoming talent to the test by combing a team of creatives with mentors and one head "client." For the Spring 2013 session, Cameron Day led the four groups to introduce a new (and fictitious), limited edition, craft beer by Coors.
The campaign included a bottle and package design, print media, bar graphics and decor, outdoor ads, and a microsite design. Our group's design direction was inspired by the coal miners that came after the gold rush in Colorado in the mid 1800s. The hard work, danger and legacy left behind is what drew us to create Black Collar.

When birds are chirping, we aren’t rising. Down here, all we have is each other. With a light on my helmet, and a pickaxe in my hand, the one thing I count on is my crew. This is not a job. It’s a way of life. We live for the end of the day. To rise above the surface into the Rockies, a place where the air is as crisp as the water. Where we can sit down in silence and know that serenity is a pour away. This is mining. This is reward over risk. This is for the soldiers beneath the surface, and the honored beyond the light.
The campaign would partner with The School of Mines and Western Museum to help foster the education and history of the mining community that began in Colorado.
The patron would sign the miner's certificate, which is similar to that in the old days when miners would claim their profits from their treasures, and donate 10% of their bill to their choice. They drop the coaster with their receipt in a designated box at the establishment.

Always inspired by great packaging and branding, I created this company and concept, inspired by a painting I did. The packaging represents me and what I love about design. (And I've always wanted to see my art on a package.)
Founded by a group of Backyard Beekeepers, BeeGood began with the hope of saving and protecting these precious little pollinators. Essential to the ecology of the planet, bees are top pollinators and great builders. BeeGood makes a range of home, health, beauty and nutritional products from the raw honey and wax produced by their ethical farm bees.
Using the humane and safer method of harvesting honey, BeeGood thrives on protection, preservation and health of their favorite creatures and the sweet nectar they produce. The collection method carefully extracts the honey and allows it to drain directly out of the hive, leaving the bees to continue their work.

Uruguayan Football Academy - Rebranding
Founder Samuel Trimble wanted a modern, yet traditional feel to his brand. What was produced, was a new identity, badge and kit design, and microsite to quickly and easily give new visitors a brief history and structure of the academy.
Inspiration came from popular clubs such as the Liverpool Academy and traditional aspects of Uruguay, like the blue stripes and Sun of May flag. I created a new business identity, badge and kit badge, student handbook brochure, infographic of the history of Uruguayan football and website design for UFA. ROLE: Lead Designer/Art Director
This one-day event, hosted by the Denver Ad Club, will recognize and celebrate the latest industry trends and practices. Advertising thought leaders and technology innovators take the stage with thought-provoking, solution-minded ideas while attendees network with like-minded professionals.
I took on the logo, social and content marketing banner ads. The iconic Colorado 'C' is of course the main inspiration. The bulb/pencil highlights the ad world's energy and creativity. I wanted it to feel fun and vibrant to capture the vibe of not only Colorado, but the industry as a whole.

Ethos, Greek for "character". Ethos training embodies the meaning of character because it is more than an exercise program, it's a holistic approach to personal health and persistence.
Inspired by the Greek and Spartan designs, Ethos Training wanted to appeal to everyone with the heart and will of the ancient warriors. Strength, power, determination and commitment are key phrases when beginning a life change that will last. Ethos Training also focuses on the mental well being of their clients and the body as whole.
Every brand needs a style. A color scheme. An overall look and feel. Custom branding brings a sense of professionalism and personalization to any product.
Near and dear to my heart. My dad designed his logo over 30 years ago and he let me re-vamp it a little. Basics still remain intact. An updated font and addition of wrenches on the 't's made it modern, but still vintage.

I wanted to capture a sense of belonging and joy of family and a promising future. The photo was a great backdrop to a simple, clear message. Murad&Murad offer a variety of services, but keeping it focused on one in particular makes it easy and quick to understand and recall.
